This is a shop in front of Taima-dera Temple. First, go to the store and place orders for the number of people. We will walk around Taima-dera Temple for about 30 minutes. Taima-dera Temple is a national treasure, and you can enjoy its splendid buildings and Buddhist statues. You can turn around in just 30 minutes, I thought it was about time and went back to the store, Seats and food were ready for the number of people ✨ 5 minutes left in steaming time⏳ The time allocation is perfect! lol The three types of kamameshi in the photo, I also ordered kamameshi with mushrooms and Yamato-age, I couldn't take a photo lol We all asked each other for a favor, I ate all kinds, Actually, the mushroom kamameshi was really delicious! ! Braised braised meat too Shigure-ni too Chicken too The flavor of all the soup stock is different and it is exquisite 😋 but, I was surprised at how delicious the mushrooms were! ! ! Other reviews on Google I forgot to take a photo, but someone wrote that the mushrooms were the most delicious 😆 lol Today's side dish ・Special egg rolls ・Tomato and celery kimchi ・Potato salad small bowl ・Yamato Daiteppo Tofu Kamameshi Tamaya 📍1242 Taima, Katsuragi City, Nara Prefecture 639-0276 11:00-15:00 Closed on Mondays No parking lot (If you want to take a walk, there is a paid parking lot at Taima-dera Temple)

Kamameshiya is in front of Taima Temple, but there is no parking lot, so I parked my car at a paid parking lot a little ahead and ate. It takes 30 minutes from ordering to cooking, so I was told that I could visit the temple during that time, so I visited Taimadera and ate. This time, I ordered the Yamato pork kakuni kamameshi set, but I'm at a loss because there are many other options. A timer is set until the rice is cooked, and a large stone is placed on the lid for steaming. You can enjoy dashimaki tamago, other side dishes, and soup while you wait. The building is an old folk house that is said to have been an inn about 130 years ago. Delicious kamameshi with a good atmosphere, I would like to go again. Thank you for the meal 😋

I also make kamameshi at home, but the taste of this kamameshi is a bit bland, but since the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and you can eat quietly, the taste is delicious and satisfying even though it's bland. It takes 30 minutes to cook, so it's a good idea to order, go sightseeing at Taima Temple, and then come back. There is an unmanned parking lot diagonally across from the store, so be sure to pay in the fare box.
