More Comments at Google MapWhen I was drinking in the morning, there was a line, so I looked in and saw an oden shop! I ate it after hearing recommendations and etiquette from a woman who seemed to be a regular customer. The well-seasoned oden was delicious, and the bamboo shoots and umeyaki were especially great.
I received oden and rice balls. Oden is 120 yen each. Onigiri is 160 yen. The hot oden is soaked in dashi and delicious. We also had hot tea. When I went there right after it opened, the daikon radish wasn't ready yet. disappointing. Soft drinks are tea and cola. Beer comes in small and large bottles. The restaurant's dining space allows about 4 people to stand and eat. The store was run by friendly ladies. Payment is by cash only.
An oden shop that has been loved by locals for a long time. This jet black oden looks like it came straight out of the Showa era and is cooked in a large pot! Its distinctive feature is that it is richly seasoned with sugar and soy sauce in the style of sukiyaki. People who are not used to it may be a little confused as it is a downtown style where you ask the mother to take out the oden you want and serve the beer yourself. We recommend the grilled plums and bamboo shoots, but they are so popular that they sell out in the morning, so if you want to eat them, you'll need to go early in the morning. By the way, I grab a few bites and drink a beer on the spot, then bring a Tupperware to take out the rest. It seems to have been introduced in tourist guides, and it can be crowded at times, so it's best to go when you have a little time to spare.
