つるとんたんは最高！ I love their instagramable big bowl, variation of the noodles and how they made such at-home-dish dine-out-dish!!

Food was great, service was good and the place had a nice, romantic ambience. A lot of locals recommend this place and that seem to have a good experience dealing with tourists as well. I had the curry fish and also yesterday a stew of guts. I found service size to be quite good!

The noodles were great and affordable! Portions were huge! (We ordered double portion for each bowl of noodles, since it was free.) Even at 3 pm we had to queue to get in. (Attests to the poularity of the place) After a 20 min wait, my family of 5 were ushered into the Japanese dining room where we sat on tatami mats to dine. Thankfully, the waitress was friendly and able to speak English. The menus too have English definitions. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Loved it!
