Habikino, Osaka, Japan｜Habikino Udon

I went there for the first time. I came to the store around 11:30, so it was empty. Each menu has five levels of spiciness, from very spicy to super spicy. After 12 o'clock, everyone was full and everyone was lined up outside.

A shop attached to a roadside station. This is a restaurant serving the specialty of Minamikawachi, “Kasu Udon”. Dashi is delicious. The topping "kasu" is also fragrant and delicious. This is my second visit, but I will use it again when I come to the roadside station. It's really good!

I got half a ball of "Kasu Udon". You can easily enjoy the local gourmet of the Minamikawachi area. The kasu is made in Japan with good quality, and the eggs are freshly laid that day. The umami of the “kasu” melts into the dashi stock made from Rishiri kelp, creating a rich flavor. While sipping udon, you can also enjoy the plump “kasu”. It's getting cold, but my body is warm when I finish eating. You can't expect much from the food at a roadside station, but I recommend this shop where you can taste the local gourmet "Kasu Udon".
