Heading north along Shin-Midosuji, passing Minoh Senba and passing through a toll tunnel, you will find yourself in a rural landscape that is far removed from the image of metropolitan Osaka and the wealthy town of Minoh, where people such as Kiyoshi Nishikawa live. If you go north from this Tocharomi area over the mountains, you will reach Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, if you go west you will reach Ikeda City, and if you go east you will reach the Toyono Town and Nose Town areas that I like. This restaurant is located in an area that can be called a village, and is popular among locals and people passing by. There was also a customer with a Tama number today. After 12:00, customers started arriving from everywhere, and the restaurant's capacity, which had six four-person tables and a tatami room, quickly filled up. Today's daily special was the fried chicken set meal, but what I got was the "Katsutoji set meal" for ¥950, a large serving of udon + ¥100. Here, the set menu includes small udon noodles instead of miso soup. Delicious thin udon noodles soaked in slightly sweet Kansai soup stock. I had high expectations for the soup stock, so I made a large portion and it was a good idea. The main cutlet, not to mention the dashi soup, was thicker than I expected from a restaurant in the countryside! I was surprised that they used thick loin meat with plenty of fat. The clothing has some weaknesses, but the quality is high! The stews are delicious, the main dishes are delicious, the udon is delicious, and although the rice is average, it's surprisingly large and voluminous. Considering the ingredients, taste, and volume, the cost performance is not bad. I had passed by the store several times and completely despised it.
