It's a cheap tachigui shop, were you can get quick and comfy food. It's not intended to be a fancy wow place. It hits the right spots, especially during fall, winter and early spring when you can enjoy the hot udon and soba, nice contrast to the chilly weather. Love this place and will support it as much as I can, there are so few tachigui shops left.

Eat Osaka specialty Kasu Udon [680 yen] (December 2022) The kasu has a crunchy texture similar to deep-fried tofu, and the oil makes the broth of the thin dashi soup multi-layered and delicious. So, a lot of that juice is good. Udon is normal. It's good to have ichimi and shichimi on the table.

20191013 When I have a business trip that uses the Hankyu train, I often stay at a hotel in the south of Nishinakajima, and one of the reasons is to eat meat udon. It's not particularly delicious, and it's not particularly cheap, but it's a place where you can feel Osaka in yourself. This niku udon goes well with ichimi, not shichimi. This restaurant has both shichimi and ichimi, so you can adjust the taste even when you eat kakiage soba. I think it was around 11:00 in the morning and a little past midnight at night.
