The restaurant is located on the second floor of a hall with rental conference rooms and exhibition facilities attached to the Kyocera headquarters building site. It is a restaurant of "Madoi," a western-style restaurant group with a 50-year history in Kyoto. During lunch time, there is a free buffet except for the main dish, with free refills of coffee, juice, salad, rice, etc.! You can enjoy a full and satisfying meal for only 1,200 yen. For the main dish, I ordered MADOI's famous pork cheese cutlet. The rich and creamy cheese was delicious. The restaurant is spacious, and the staff in the hall may not be able to see everything, but it was a relaxing way to spend a Saturday lunch. If you are alone, I recommend the counter seat by the window.
