Kyoto, Japan｜Grill Demi

It’s westernized Japanese food in the form of hamburger patties. They have different sets that come with rice, salad, and miso soup. They do have an English menu available. Check them out. It was definitely one of my favorite meals in Japan.

The food was great. The demi sauce is on most dishes and I liked it. I got the hamburger steak and shrimp tempura and my wife got the same but with eggs and rice. My tempura was a bit small and her dish was better but still good for the price. Everyone was friendly and there was a line of people trying to get in when we left so keep that in mind.

We are staying at the Hyatt place around the corner from this restaurant. After eating a lot of sushi, I was craving something different . We waited in line( you know it’s good if there’s a line) and ordered from the English menu. They served the hamburger on a sizzling pan, along with a gravy boat of Demi-glasse sauce. The drama of pouring the sauce on top of was 👍🏻. Yummy! Every other component was equally as good: the rice, miso soup and the salad, which was super fresh and tasty.
