Kyoto, Japan｜Maison de Vin Uzuratei

What an amazing dinner experience to end our Kyoto trip here. We had 7 courses inc. 3 glasses of wine of our own choice. First of all, the wine by the glass options are unexpectedly good, top wine houses are selected from Chablis, Chateneuf du Pape and so on. We had 2 main courses consisting of fish and meat, the lamb from New Zealand was out of this world! Overall, we were really happy! Delicious meals, great hospitality. They dont have an english menu but i am sure you will manage. The sommelier was really friendly and he speaks english well, better than he himself expects i think. ありがとうございます。

Great service, atmosphere, and of course food and variety of wine collection.

If you love wine, and wanna experience various taste in a day, and if you strongly wish them to be tasty, then you cannot miss here. They have many selection of wines by the glass, and they are amazingly nice I've never experienced a restaurant who prepares such a high-end wines by the glass over 20 selections!! Without saying, dishes are good too. Foods are relatively reasonable for its quality, and drinks are relatively kind of very expensive... But you won't get disappointed. In summer time, they have Yuka here. You can enjoy a good wine with a good food and scenery by the Kamo river.
