Great food and actually very good value for the money. We ate a menu of 8 courses with excellent very varied dishes , one of them a bit of excellent Kobe beef another very fresh seafood, all beautifully presented for just 8000 yen per person. Service was super friendly we just missed a bit of an explanation of what we were eating. It would be a bit much to ask the service girls to explain this all in English but maybe a printed copy overview would be nice.

This was an unexpected find when we were en route to the Osaka art museum. It turns out that the museum was closed on a Monday and we came across this restaurant. As this is a kaiseki restaurant, their menu is seasonal. During our visit 2 options were available - 6000JPY or the 15000JPY set. We opted for the former and we were not disappointed. At 6000JPY, this came up to around 70 plus sgd and is worth it in my opinion. If you have been to a Ryokan, the level of service is impeccable and similar. You will be shown to a private room and a staff or two will be taking care of your needs throughout the course of the meal. Needless to say, we love the food and will be coming back again. Probably in a different season just to check out what else they offer. It was a shame we could not visit their garden while we were there as it looks like it was meticulously tended to and offers a serene resting spot away from the chaotic tourists in nearby Shinsekai.
