Kyoto, Japan｜Yomen-ya Goemon - Kyoto Porta

The pasta was so delicious and service was really good. Even though we had to wait in line, it was fast, they came out to take our order when we were waiting outside so it didn't take too long to get your food after we got the seats. We ordered #6 Aglio Ollo with dried mullet roe, crab & shrimp and #27 Mediterranean Tomato cream soup with crab, shrimp & Scallop. We changed one of it to the set, it came with salad, a drink (you can get wine) and a dessert. We were surprise to find this amazing Italian restaurant in Kyoto, we will definitely come back.

Japanese pasta is incredible, I never thought to choose pasta as an option in Japan and our native Japanese friend recommended it. I don’t usually eat gluten but this was an exception I needed to try, I had number 9 - Mentaiko & Japanese Pickles which had whitebait and a raw egg yolk that made the pasta so creamy and delicious 😋😋 highly recommend

Really good!!! The mini set of two types of pasta is a way one to try n the seasonal dessert is delish!!!
