Kyoto, Japan｜Toriyasu

This is specialised on chicken dishes. We had a lunch here with fried chicken bowl and deep fried chicken set. The food was very tasty, service excellent , air conditioning and good prices. We enjoyed the experience.

Simple food done well. Two different types of chicken, with egg and rice and soup. Super friendly service, even when serving non-Japanese speakers. Cool authentic atmosphere for tourists. Yeah, during lunchtime, you may need to queue for a while, like 20-30min, but I felt it was worth it.

This is a hidden gem that serves oyakodon. They seem to always have a line but I got lucky enough that the wait was less than 10 minutes. In terms of taste, the egg just melted in my mouth and the Karrage(fried chicken) was very tasty. I highly recommend if you are visiting the Kyoto Downtown Area.
