Osaka, Japan｜お好み鉄板焼 KONOMU

I have wanted okonomiyaki my entire Japan trip. We got to where we were staying in Osaka and this was very close. The moment we entered I knew we were in the right place. We ordered the hinomaru okonomi and the entire course was mouthwatering from beginning to end. 🤤 I will be eating here as often as possible while I am here. Thank you konomu! Thank you so so much!

We were staying near this little gem and stumbled in for lunch. The staff was super friendly, and the crowd was all locals. Very calm for lunch. The food is absolutely delicious. One of our best meals in Osaka, and definitely the best pork and kimchi that we had. The menu is all in Japanese and there is no English speaking staff, but if you're adventurous or have translate, it's no problem. We were helped by a very kind patron sitting next to us who could make some great suggestions. Prices are decent. Not too expensive as it's set aside from the tourist hub. Would definitely return!

A small shop, not facing the street. But the business is extremely good, and more than 90% of them are locals, which is a good interpretation of the saying "the aroma of wine is not afraid of the depth of the alley". The service is really nothing to say. Finally, there is the boss. The lady boss has a celebrity look.
