On the 8th floor of this department store is this cosy okonomiyaki place. A very friendly owner served us Osaka style okonomiyaki, which was really good. The food is also good priced, I could recommend this place to anyone.

My favourite okonomiyaki joint. The avocado tofu is a must have, and the okonomiyaki is crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. This takashimaya branch is not crowded after 8, but you will need to take a lift up to the dining floor to access it as the department store will be closed.

This place is a gem. We got the pork and mixed okonomiyaki, which were some of the best I've ever had, and split the yakisoba and yamaimo-yaki (after seeing the people next to us order it and getting jealous) between four people, both of which were surprisingly good, too. Every seat has a good view of the main griddle so you can watch the chefs preparing everything. It's on the 8th floor of the Takashimaya department store and seats maybe 14 people. There wasn't a huge line here like there was at the main branch of the restaurant down the street, but we still had to wait a good while to get seated. They have English menus.
