Kumiyama, Kyoto, Japan｜繁ちゃんラーメン

I ordered pork noodles and croquettes. It's not authentic or unique, but it's the taste of a ramen shop that used to be in a rural town that I know well. Nostalgic and delicious orthodox taste.

On the way back, I passed by Okayama and ate the ramen at Issei (Asakuchi City), which was delicious. The aftertaste lasted quite a long time. I could have eaten a second helping of ramen there, but I decided to try Kumiyama's Shigeru-chan ramen when I returned to Kyoto. Issei's ramen had chicken fat covering the surface of the soup, and although it tasted like soy sauce, it didn't taste like soy sauce at all. Shigeru-chan's ramen looks very similar to Issei's Chinese noodles, but the soup is probably made with chicken bones and some of the fat has been removed. The light soy sauce soup is very delicious. The taste of the food stall that has been running for three generations in front of Hirakata Station is unmistakable. Although they are very similar, Issei's Chinese noodles, which have a sweet taste from the fat, and Shigeru-chan ramen, which has a slightly less fat but has a refreshing soy sauce flavor, were both delicious. At Shigeru-chan, I ordered stir-fried bean sprouts, so I put it on my ramen and ate it with bean sprouts. The spicy stir-fried bean sprouts with flathead sauce went well with Shige-chan's ramen soup and was delicious.

It was old-fashioned ramen and very delicious. The chashu men also had a lot of grilled pork, so I was satisfied.
