Kyoto is popular for its ramen spots and many of them are small shops that will typically have a line of people outside. We got lucky and got to this place with only a few folks enjoying dinner after work. Once we got seated, it filled up quick with a small line outside. The food was delicious, we got the gyoza, pork and salty ramen. The broth was rich with plenty of flavor that hit the spot. This is definitely a hidden gem, don’t pass the opportunity to check it out. The staff is super nice, just make sure to have cash as they don’t take cards.
Didn't want to wait in line for 30+ minutes at ginjo, saw this place was near by and gave it a shot. No line when we arrived but became popular as the night went on. Reasonable prices and my partner said that it was the best ramen he ever had. I ordered the salt ramen and he had the beef. I misunderstood the English menu and thought you had to order the egg, pork and other toppings on top of your meal, these were actually extras. No regrets as I ended up eating it all. Gyoza was tasty too and we had a great time
