Kyoto, Japan｜Ramen Daiei

Small but a legit local place with lots of oyajis (local dudes). Quite a surprise when the ramen restaurant had both Eng/KR menus for the tourists. We had the shoyu ramen & sake, and both were amazing and super affordable! Best bang for the buck! And the owner oyaji was super nice and idk y but had a very cute vibe XD would recommend this place!

My first and probably only food review that's how good this little place was. Hidden little gem in Kyoto run by this older couple, only a 10-15 walk away from Kyoto Station. I got the regular sized miso ramen and it was incredibly delicious. Lots of pork, noodles and bean sprouts topped off with lots of green onion. Broth was incredible. I would highly recommend coming here for Ramen! It's worth the walk and worth the wait if there is a lineup!

This ramen was absolutely delicious 🤤. The owners specialize in pork ramen, so I ordered the one with miso in the base as well, so flavorful. I ordered the regular (there were so many pork slices in it!) and it was huge for only 850 yen. Only get the large if you're up for a challenge. It was popular as the locals were willing to wait in the rain in a long line for it. I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're visiting Kyoto or just a ramen fan.
