More Comments at Google MapLiterally one of the best つけ麺 (Tsukemen) I’ve ever had! I’ve had really strong and week broths and they’re good in their own ways! Based on their recommendations, I took three 海老🦐option, which is usually a special in a ramen restaurant, it was sooooo good! It’s not overly powering and yet still brings a strong prawn flavour to every sip and bite! Thick prawn dipping broth which stills brings out the tangy texture of the special buckwheat based noodles from Kyoto! Not to mention that the atmosphere is amicably local, and service is too notch! Truly one of the best! And I’ll definitely come back for more! This place (which I’ve gotten a recommendation from a local) is making Tsukemen another level!
Out of our 10 days in Japan, this was hands down our favourite meal! Fast, delicious and authentic. Spicy miso tsukemen was amazing.
I am so glad I chose to have lunch here. Even though the outside looks kinda dirty, I love the food there. The noodles are cooked to perfection, and the soup, even though a bit bland, very nice. The blandness of the soup can be explained by the fact that Kyoto has a lighter taste for everything. I would recommend it to everyone!
