Kyoto, Japan｜Shinpuku Saikan - Fushimi

Very accommodating staff and great food. There was an older gentleman that spoke English and gave his best to ensure we understand exactly what we were ordering and were pleased with it.

When I drive to Kyoto, I often go to Shinpuku Saikan's Fushimi branch or Ramen Yokozuna's Kisshoin branch for lunch. Or rather, when I went to the Fushimi store, it was closed and I had no choice but to go to Ramen Yokozuna. Ramen Yokozuna is also available locally. The Fushimi store has a parking lot where some people are forced to park 3 cars in front of the store, but if you park normally, you only have 2 cars. There is an affiliated parking lot across the road with space for 10 cars, so I usually park there. Lately, I've started ordering small bowls of Chinese noodles and bowls. The set meal of fried rice and Chinese noodles is good, but since it is available at the Tenjingawa branch and the main branch, I choose the rice bowl that is served at the Fushimi branch. I always eat Chinese noodles thinking, ``It's black...'' but it's not that salty, so it's just delicious. The taste is the same as the main store.
