Kyoto, Japan｜Ramen-dokoro Katsukyo

This was one of the best ramen I had during my trip to Japan. The store is small but very cozy. The two store owners provided very good service and helped me choose the ramen I wanted. Thank you very much. The ramen soup is thick, with a balanced ratio of oil and salt, and is very smooth. The noodles are chewy and the barbecued pork has a rich flavor. It's a great bowl of ramen at a great price. Looking forward to coming again next time

A wonderful ramen shop away from the business of the Fushimi Inari Shrines. Go here if you want to escape the other tourists. The miso ramen is a thick and flavourful soup that blends with fish dashi for incredible umami. The tonkotsu is mellow and flavourful but smooth unlike a lot of other punchy and fatty alternatives. Very good shop and welcome after the intense crowds.

Awesome food, service and atmosphere with music, easy to order at the vending machine. The chef even allowed us to charge our phones while we were at.
