Kyoto, Japan｜Ramen Kairikiya Horikawa Gojo

Love this place. Been wanting to visit a ramen shop that is neighbourhood/local feeling. This is near the hotel I stayed and this was found by Google help. Delicious but for this not local speaking (tourist like me) use Google translate to do the ordering via the ipad. I love their ordering system. I don't like greens so their ordering system allows me to choose noodle texture, with/without green onions, with/without corn etc, then can add-ons, less or more oil, less/more spicy etc. They also can kids meal lovely for my small eater daughter. Many popular Japanese side dishes. Tourist come give it a try.. we came at 8pm and crowd was ok but at 8.30pm onwards queue was formed.

Got a large bowl of a really tasty ramen. Great service and super easy order. The iPad now supports English so was super touristy friendly experience. Great customer service and atmosphere.

Probably the best ramen I had on our trip. Large tables were very comfortable to eat at compared to most other restaurants. English menu as well.
