More Comments at Google MapA hidden gem and a shop worth trekking down the side streets for. The thick chicken Ramen was absolutely delightful. The broth itself is thick and savory, filled with onion, sprout, and other wonderful veggies. Add-ons are available such as gyoza, eggs, or fried chicken. The wait wasn't too bad around lunch time and our food came out in just a few minutes. Very friendly staff, highly recommended!
Super Delicious Ramen!! Highly Recommend !! English menu available. We ate Onibara Shiro (Shoyu) and Torisoba (Chicken). Both are excellent. Umami soup with thiny sliced chashu. A very satisfy meal in Kyoto. However we can't eat them all even we ordered regular size, felt guity for that. Ps: We waited approximate 10 mins on 1PM weekday.
Unexpected find. Great food, very friendly multilingual host. Great food. Fast service inside, but you will most likely have to wait outside for seat availability. Order machine supports english language, payment is accepted by cash (no card or suica). Tried kuro and shiro ramens, where shiro is pure chicken broth with a bit of oil, noodles, thinly sliced pork (like bacon strips in thickness) and white onion, and kuro is the same but with soy sauce and green onion instead. Egg had to be ordered separately, but came in a minute after ordering even when ramen was already on the table. P.S.: I was suggested Table Log site to find local reviews, and this place isn't on that platform, but fear not Travellers, this is a great place to visit!
