“Ichiho Seiemon” is a restaurant that I visited when I was looking for delicious ramen near Doshisha University. This shop is located on the north side of Doshisha University and can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. Expectations grew for the convenience of its location and the world of delicious ramen that spread beyond it. The ramen served at the shop is characterized by its spicy yet deep flavor. The aroma and richness of the soup are condensed into one cup, and different elements spread in your mouth every time you eat it. What was particularly impressive was the char siu, which has both a fragrant and chewy texture. The umami of the meat complemented a bowl of ramen. The specialty of this restaurant is that the ramen is carefully made after receiving the order. In the cooking process, you can feel the intricate skills of the craftsmen, and you can see that each cup is served with heart. Therefore, the waiting time has also become one of the pleasures. However, pay attention to payment methods. Credit cards cannot be used and electronic money cannot be used, so payment must be made in cash.
