More Comments at Google MapFounded in 1938. This is the Ishiyamadera branch of Shinpuku Saikan, a well-known legendary ramen shop in Kyoto (*`・ω・)ゞ There is also an Otsukyo store in front of Otsukyo Station in Shiga Prefecture (゚∀゚*) You can park your car in front of the store. There are about eight two-seater tables in the store. By the way, it is an order system. This time, I ordered the "A set" of ramen (medium) and fried rice (small). Most of the people around me also ordered the A set. (ФωФ) The ramen is black in color with Shinpuku Saikan's familiar dark soy sauce soup. The noodles are also stable, medium-thick straight noodles with low water content. I'm secretly happy that there is a lot of thinly sliced char siu by default. (゚∀゚*) I thought the fried rice was a little lighter in color and uneven compared to the main store, but it didn't bother me. The owner seems a little unfriendly, but his voice is clear when he greets me. Best of all, the female clerk working inside is very efficient and responsive. There were a lot of students there, probably because it's close to Shiga University. (ФωФ) Thank you for the meal (。-人-。)
It is said that it is not salty, but the black soup is salty, but it is salty and delicious! The fried rice is also delicious and must be ordered as a set. On the day I visited, it was crowded and I had to wait for a while as the two of us passed around the store, but both of us had a good customer service and enjoyed our meal.
Whenever I come here, I always stop by for lunch. I really like the soy sauce-based ramen here.
