Lunch sets are a great deal starting at ¥1600 and there are four to choose from. I went with 'Ohara' and enjoyed the variety. The description says vegetarian restaurant but it's actually a "vegetable specialty" restaurant focusing on Kyoto vegetables dishes. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant for a vegetarian unless you're able to thoroughly convey your dietary needs in Japanese as there are lots of seafood products such as shrimp in the rice and fish broth used in multiple dishes.
