This is a great place for good honest food. ASTY enjoys excellent tourist traffic but this restaurant manages the queue well and gets food out promptly. I had a Ebi furai Ohitsu rice set. Mixing the half-cooked fried egg into the rice and adding the soup stock into the rice makes a satiating bowl of delight. The ebi furai was fresh and chewy. So was the bowl of yasai which came with the set. When wife was coughing with an irritated throat, one of the considerate staff brought her a glass of water with the kind words, " daijoubu desuka?". Wow this place really made an impression.

Very good reasonably priced japanese breakfast. Simple and tasty. Breakfast only served from 10-11. Breakfast for 2 cost us around 1600yen.
