Buffet style pickled vegetables! Pickled vegetables have been a staple in Kyoto and this is a great way to enjoy a part of their culture. The rice is excellent as always. You get a side of miso soup and tea. Red bean dessert was great too! Cash only.

This restaurant has a small but cute Japanese style garden. You can select 20ish pickled vegetables, including eggplant, radish…Let the flavor of pickles fully infused into the Japanese tea. The flavored tea works as great soup for rice, white or brown.

Loved the pickled vegetables and rice for lunch, it was a set lunch fee and included miso soup, a tea and dessert. I will be back when I visit again!
