Kyoto, Japan｜Teppanyaki Tokiwa

As expected from Okura, I think the quality of the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the quality of the staff are top notch. The ingredients are of course good, but the sauce on each plate is also of high quality. Even the garlic rice was cooked with extra work. I can only give my impressions.

When I was traveling to Kyoto with my mother and daughters, the hotel we stayed at was Kyoto Hotel Okura, so every time my daughter requested, we had Tokiwa's teppanyaki for dinner. Nowadays, I often travel alone in Kyoto, sometimes with friends, and the hotel I stayed at was changed from Okura to B Hotel. I sometimes use it for lunch when I'm alone, but I had a teppanyaki dinner at B Hotel in September, and I had a dinner with my grandson for the same price in January this year. I was surprised to see my grandson excitedly talking to the staff. It must have been so delicious. Teppanyaki at B Hotel in September was not as good as here. After all, the teppanyaki must be Tokiwa-san, so this time I asked for a little more grams of Japanese black beef on the Kurama course (Ikkyu reservation). While watching the night view, start with hors d'oeuvres, fish dishes, grilled meat and vegetables, garlic rice, and lastly teppanyaki dessert. Coffee is not included, but this is patient. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy alone, as a couple, or as a family.

My aunt's favorite. We use it every year. The view is nice and the lunch is reasonably priced, so I recommend it.
