Kyoto, Japan｜Japanese cruise Fujitate (Tempura)

The Food was simply amazing. This is by far the best food we have had in Japan. This is probably a Michelin star restaurant in the making. A hidden gem at the moment of writing this review. We ordered a 5 course omakase, but liked it so much we ordered another 5 course. Never have we had such good food before. Quantity is also great and well balanced. The chef is truly a master of his craft, and the service is also amazing. The servers speak very good English and explained what each of the unique dishes were.

The only place I want to eat in Kyoto!! please don’t become too popular, so I can get a table when I come back to Japan! We visited in late October. Erika-san was so lovely and very kind to our group of 4, even helping us to get a reservation for later in the week after we enjoyed it so much the night we arrived. The food was truly amazing (美味しい です), the beer was ice cold and the plum wine was delicious and worth a second cup. The grilled fish with miso was so good I wanted to order it twice!! my only regret is that I didn’t get to try everything!! Thank you so much!!

This place blew my mind in every way. The coursed meal was delicious, varied, and surprising. We stumbled upon it and turns out it’s some of the best food you can get in the area. They were also very accommodating. One of those places you want to return to twice or thrice on the same trip.
