Kyoto, Japan｜Monpan Shokudo

Had a hearty veg Buddha bowl, which was super tasty and more filling than expected. The Mongol pan is also immensely delicious. It's a nice cozy place with the sweetest owners and it has a swing for one of it's seats!!! The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for the winter night that we were here. They have a good Asian fusion menu that's vegan friendly. They range from the more standard Japanese sets, curry, Korean dishes, among others. They also seem to be selling a few goods. Probably not a place for quick service. Seats about 8 or so people.

I love the Mongolian bread which has several toppings that are seasonal so it's always a bit different every time. There are so many yummy items to choose from on the menu and they're quite varied - aside from the Mongolian bread there are Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and other Asian dishes. It's a great place for chilling out either alone or with friends. Highly recommended!

I m happy you open again after corona. Your restaurant was amazing. There are menus from many countries all over the world. And the atmosphere is cozy and foreigner/friendly and everything was wonderful.
