Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Tsuruki-soba

I would like to let fellow travellers know that this is more of a gift shop. They do sell some food/traditional Japanese snack items, but this is not the noodle shop as it shows on Google Maps. The noodle shop is down the hill where you catch the local busses.

It was warm and delicious~ After climbing Mt. Hiei in the cold, I arrived at this soba (*´∀`)♪ I ordered wild vegetable soba, and it was firm and chewy, and the soup stock was delicious. The lady at the shop was so warm that I wanted to go back and eat it again.

I ate it for the first time in about 40 years, and the cold soba was chewy and delicious.
