One of the best spot hands down in the Sanzen-in area!!!! We ordered the special Sanzen-in soba and the cold Dororo soba. It's absolutely amazing considering the noodles are just right and the soup is ultra flavourful: there are layers of elements that give these 2 simple soba the complex profile that tingles your taste buds. And the pricing is unbelievably affordable for such well crafted noodle dishes. Also this restaurant is more quaint and authentic compared to the other newer ones within this area where the majority of the tourists would flock to. Together with the collection of authentic retro kids toys (from the 60-70s era like those plastic babies, paper balls and styrofoam airplanes) makes this place unique and worth visiting. And the grandmother that runs this place is very lovely as well. I definitely recommend anyone to visit this place!!!!

Not bad, 1200jpy, the egg rice is absolutely amazing

The mother-in-law in the store is so cute and reminds me of Spirited Away. Enthusiastic work attitude.
