Osaka, Japan｜Nomson Curry

Awesome restaurant that serves Osaka style spice curry, which is a wild combination of meats and spices, with multiple curries on one plate meant to be combined. Cute, homey interior. Recommend mixing it up from the menu, which changes frequently.

This small shop somewhat off the main drag of Denden town offers multiple kinds of curry that are extremely flavorful without being overly spicy. I would recommend this spot for those who prefer less heat in their curry, and those with children in tow. When I visited there were four varieties of curry on hand for the day: chicken curry, beef keema curry, beef curry, and scallop and edamame curry. I had the first two, served with turmeric rice and a small cup of bibimbap style bean sprouts. The curry was excellent. I also had a side order of tandoori flavored fried chicken and a glass of iced chai latte, both enjoyable. While this shop does not offer a children's menu or high chairs (that I could see) the style of curry would not be incompatible with the mouths of many children. I would expect that a small stroller may be able to traverse the shop easily. I will be visiting this shop again in the coming months.
