More Comments at Google MapRight next to the south exit of Kawachiyamamoto Station. The interior of the store looks more like a ramen restaurant than an eel restaurant, and it doesn't have a luxurious feel. However, for domestically produced eel, the price is very reasonable, so I have no complaints at all about the interior of the restaurant. I received the unagiju above. It was 3/4 of an eel, but since the eel was meaty and large, it was a very filling portion. The Kanto style eel and sauce were both delicious. As for the rice, I didn't have any problems at all. I thought the price was more than 30% cheaper than the market price at eel restaurants in Osaka city. A set of bottled beer, two bottles of grilled liver, and unagi zaku is 1,500 yen, which is also a great deal.
Anyway, it's delicious all the way to the end! I had a 1st anniversary coupon, so I thought I'd give it a try, so I took the top to go and ate it, and it had a delicious fluffy texture, and even with the sauce and Japanese pepper that came with it, it didn't get too thick at all! If it were a regular eel, it would get a little boring at the end, but that wasn't the case at all, and I was able to eat it with the same delicious feeling from beginning to end (lol) Since it was a take-out meal, it didn't come with soup or pickles. (The soup in the photo is from home) They served me hot tea while I waited for about 10 minutes 🍵 I wondered what was different about Kanto style, so I looked it up and found out that it's steam-grilled, which is why it has a fluffy texture...
The taste, quantity, and customer service from the staff were all very satisfying! There are several famous eel restaurants in Yao City, but since they are long-established, most of them tend to be unfriendly. However, at Saitaniya, the female staff, including the store manager, are cheerful, and the customers look up to them like idols, and I can see that they are building strong relationships with them. Prices range from 1,000 yen to 3,000 yen, so you can eat to your heart's content at a very reasonable price. If you look at the price, the average eel bowl is the easiest to buy, but in terms of satisfaction, I would like everyone to try the top or the best eel bowl✨
