I got plain, mugwort flavor and coffee flavor. The coffee flavor is not so much coffee as black honey (a new flavor with the aroma of coffee added. Personally, it was my favorite flavor out of the three. I bought this warabi mochi as a souvenir to take home. When I visit Ishikiri Tsurugi Shrine again, I definitely want to have warabi mochi!
I stopped by after visiting Ishikiri Tsurugi Shrine. Since it was after dinner, my family each had mitarashi dumplings, and they were freshly baked and really delicious. When I was eating it while looking at the product photos in the store, I was surprised to see that the photo of the mugwort rice cake had grainy red bean paste, sauce, soybean flour, and the word “unglazed”. It's delicious as it is," he told me. I was full, but I couldn't miss this and ordered an additional order. The surface was crispy and fragrant, and the inside was soft and melty. (I forgot to take a picture, so from the official website)
The mugwort mochi here is really rich in mugwort and delicious!
