Ibaraki, Osaka, Japan｜Lemon Grass House

This restaurant is so, so good. It has a good selection of southeast Asian cuisine and it's all good. They make a mix of stir-fry, noodle, and rice dishes which taste very authentic but upmarket, like you might get in a hotel in Lamai rather than from a food stand at the Khao San Road. The place is very small which is a shame as it's usually busy so you may have to wait but it will absolutely be worth it. Highly recommended.

Pad Thai ¥1300 It was consistently delicious. I could tell it was authentic. Also, many reviews said that the wife was unfriendly, so I went there with some trepidation, but I didn't feel any particular inconvenience. I often come to Ibaraki for work, so I'm happy that my favorite Thai restaurant is there 😊 Next time I will try a different menu!

2020/8/28 This restaurant has a reputation for serving authentic Thai cuisine. I looked at the menu and it was full of Thai dishes. Those who don't know Thai food may not know what it tastes like, but I encourage you to explore it. This time, I ate Gapa Onua (Beef Gapao Rice). In a good way, the fluffy rice made with Thai rice goes perfectly with the authentic spicy but mildly spicy beef. Japanese rice has a lot of moisture and becomes sticky, so Thai rice is definitely more delicious when used with authentic ingredients! ! There are several restaurants in Ibaraki City that serve Thai food, but is it because they are cooked by foreign chefs? I prefer the flavor of Lemongrass. We also have authentic Thai curries, noodles, and soups that you should definitely try. Recommended.
