Wow wow wow. Delicious ! Chicken curry was so good we ordered a third dish for a couple even though we were already full. the starter salad was fresh and good too. great music and kind staff. absolutely recommended.

Highly underrated place. The food and service were perfection. You cannot beat it. After a long walk in Arashiyama, this is the most relaxing place to stop before getting on the train. Sit back, eat amazing food, and sip a beer; while listening to some cool music and chatting with the owner. I can’t rave about this place enough.

Food was great for price (~¥1000-1500 per person). What made the meal so good was the service though - the uncle waiting tables could communicate in English and gave us several recommendations on pairing the curry with pickles and spices provided, also asking if everything was to our liking and making small talk. Funny guy, wished us well on our way since it was blazing hot. Fun small diner-esque experience with amazing rnb/80s rock song choices!
