Wonderful tea house to stop in when on a hike in the area. Cafe late was perfect. Warabi mochi with hand ground kinako and matcha tea is superb. Wonderful outdoor seating under an ancient magnolia.

Very nice place along the Yamanobe no michi trail, perfect for a lunch stop. They have hot and cold vegetarian meals (or fish) made with local somen. I was delicious!

I went to the popular spot "Yamanobe no Michi" that connects Nara to Sakurai! I would like to say, but I took a short walk for a cafe 👾 lol . . An old road described as Yamanobe-no-michi in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. The road that was used from the Jomon period and the Yayoi period as a road on the east side of the basin connecting Sakurai and Nara became more important due to the Yamato Kingdom, which was born in the direction of Sakurai City, and came to be called Yamanobe Road. 👾 . .
