Kyoto, Japan｜Brisket Rony

Good food and exceptional service. We just wandered in and chose the second floor seating for the no-smoking preference. It must have been cumbersome for the sole waiter but he was AWESOME!!! Welcoming but not overly friendly (no pressure to choose the more expensive set); he let us have all the time we need to review the menu (which is available in English, with the same price as the Japanese menu). We chose the most basic set but ended up adding two more servings of the brisket. Our family highly recommend this cozy restaurant. It is a neat little restaurant that we will definitely return to the next time we are in Kyoto.

Lovely restaurant! The food was splendid, and at a reasonable price, given it was wagyu meat. The service was amazing, they were very welcoming, even though we were not good at japanese. Will definitely return!

A piece of Korea in Kyoto. The waiter was very insightful to realize we don't really know how to use Korean grill, so he showed us how to do it properly. Our savior. The meat was super delicious, light yet filling. Korean Soju is also available, really tasty 😋. The restaurant is very clean and nicely furnished. Smoking at the table allowed on 1st floor, 2nd floor is nonsmoking.
