This place is an awesome. Traditional wooden house and the best Tonkatsu you will find in Kyoto. We were there early and 1st customer of the day. The owners are super friendly and nice. It's one of the best experience we had in Kyoto. Highly recommended.

Just follow gmaps and you will find the place. The place does not have big sign, it is located in residency area. Everything about this place is very authentic. If you expect big fancy commercial restaurant, then this is not the place for you. But if you love small authentic classic restaurant, then you should visit here. The restaurant capacity is rather small, 3 booths with 4 seating capacity each booth, and 4 individual seats facing the kitchen. Services are great. Their tonkatsu....SIMPLY THE BEST.

An incredibly homely restaurant! The Tonkatsu is amazing, with crisp batter and very tasty sauce. Likewise the double portion Tonkatsu Curry lived up to its name, fantastic for a hungry tummy! The staff were patient with two Baka gaijins!
