How many HUBs are there around? Well at least this one is in the COCON. It's a lovely little shopping center with excellent clean restrooms and an inviting look. A nice little place in the heart of downtown Kyoto.

During lunch time, a Dim Sum buffet was offered at 4.5k yen. The course was equipped with a good variety, where some dishes were significantly better and some were kinda bad. I recommend the desserts, egg tart, congee, pork bun are some of the must try dish. If you love HK styled breakfast, give it a try!

Just south of the major crossing of Shijo Karasuma this shopping mall offers many fine shops including one selling paper hand printed with design carved wooden blocks from the Edo period, so-called Kyokarakami, as well as an excellent incense shop, a branch of one of the finest old incense makers in Kyoto, that sells short incense sticks in a very large and comprehensive assortment. The sticks are beautifully coloured and you can even have a personal inscription printed on them. Sets of incense sticks make very good presents. Besides these two shops, there are flowers, household goods of high quality, restaurants and more.
