More Comments at Google Map[Item ordered] Char siu noodles, extra egg [About noodles] It's thin noodles. When you slurp the noodles, you can smell the wheat and it's delicious. It's just a little thicker than the thin noodles at Mokkosu, but if you're a Mokkosu fan, you'll probably like it. [About the soup] Close to Rairaitei and Kairikiya. It's a back fat soy sauce type. The soy sauce might be a little spicy at first, but it had diluted by the time I added the extra egg, and the consistency was just right. Also, green onions are delicious! [About char siu] It is similar to the char siu made by UNCHI Co., Ltd., a popular ramen production company. Personally, I think it's delicious. [Personal review] It has a strong Rairaitei feel. It also has a bit of a Mokkosu atmosphere. It's delicious so I think I'll go again.
It's a ticket vending machine store, so it's best to decide what you want before entering. This time, I'm going to try chashu noodles with menma topping. I don't like spicy food, so I ordered it without all the spiciness. I don't know what type it is, but the soup is delicious😋 your favorite taste. The char siu is a thin type, but it has a flavor that I like. It's good that the noodles are thin, but I don't like them being powdery. Since the menma is normal, I think it was okay not to add any toppings. The soup was delicious and I wanted to drink it all, but I restrained myself. It wasn't until I started eating that I realized there was something called chilled ramen, so next time I'll have the cold one.
②Revisit. I had miso. Last time I tasted only the soup, I thought it was white miso, but this time it was a combination? I think it was. I entered the store around 11:40. Due to staff turnover, there was no one in the store, so I sat at the very back. There are stairs and when I looked in to see if there were seats on the second floor, I saw a sign that said ``No Trespassing.'' My partner who likes menma ordered more. I was happy that it was a delicious correct answer. Next time I go, I will go back to Kujo Negi. ①I want to go eat again. The only drawback is that it's a small store, so you'll have a hard time standing around the ticket machine. Posting the menu at the store might alleviate the crowds a little. Perhaps because it was after 1pm on a weekday, there was no line. However, in a store with only a counter, when two people were standing next to each other, the staff had to be bothered for a moment. Fortunately, a space became available right away, so everything went smoothly. Both the Kujo Negi Ramen I chose and my partner's Miso Tonkotsu Ramen cost 1080 yen. The gyoza rice set costs 380 yen. In terms of quantity, I think the rice was superfluous. It may be perfect for men who eat well. The price may seem a little high, but once you try it, you'll understand. I think it's a good result. The noodles carefully laid out under a heaping amount of green onions and chashu are thin and between hard and average. It feels like it's going to melt a little while I'm eating it. The soup had just the right amount of salt and a hidden spice (I wonder what it was? I couldn't tell). The gyoza are also delicious. It was one plate for the two of us, but we ended up eating too much. There are only 5 in there so you have to be careful. Even in the seasonings placed on the counter, I can sense the intention and commitment to wanting people to try and taste the various seasonings. After tasting a bit of my partner's miso tonkotsu soup, I finally understood the origin of the name ``Arashiyama, Kyoto''. What a white miso base! Moreover, it is not too assertive and has an exquisite feel. I'm definitely going to try this next time I come. I've eaten a lot of Kyoto ramen, and I wasn't looking for a ``Kyoto-like'' ramen, but this soup in Rokkodo was shocking (maybe a little over-the-top). Also, when you think of a ramen restaurant, you have the image of an old man with folded arms running the business, but is Arashiyama's chef his daughter? (Grandchild?) It looks like he and his father (grandfather?) are running it together. I don't know how this will work in the future, but I have found another store that I'm interested in.
