Found it by chance on or stroll through the market. We were in the mood for some Chinese food so we thought we would give it a try. I had low expectations after a less than stellar experience in a different “Chinese” restaurant. We went in the menu looked good so far. We saw a young guy pulling the noodles by hand. Ramen means literally pulled noodles. We were seated and they even spoke Chinese so everything looked good so far. But the most important is the food. And boy it didn’t disappoint. Really delicious. The best noodles I had in my trip to Japan. We went to some great noodle places in our trip but this one had the best texture on the noodles. And amazing price as well. Less than 1000 yen for the Lanzhou noodles. We also ordered many other small dishes like prawn dumplings and lamb dumplings, I prefer Cantonese har gow though. We also had a chicken dish that I loved. It was a flavour bomb. The spicy sichuan chicken. And the boba was really good as well. Definitely among the better I have tasted in Japan. All in all a great little restaurant.

we had absolutely great food at Hyakusai Beef Noodles. We went in and the staff were welcoming and friendly, they gave us a table that fits five people, and got us the menu, they noticed that we were struggling to understand it so there was someone ot help us with our order, We ordered almost everything on it, we had Orawn Gyozas, Beef Gyozas, and Fried chicken bites to start, then each ordered his plate of Ramen, I personally had the one with minced meet, my friends ordered the two others, one with beef cutlets, and another without the broth. The food was outstanding, the Ramen and the Gyozas are things I would order again, I felt like the dry Noodles were too dry and the fried chicken wasn't a specialty but all was still good, if its a preference for you. There's sweet soy sauce and chili on the table, so i had plenty of access to chili to make mine as spicy as I like my food to be. If you find yourself around this area and you're craving Ramen, this is the place to go to.

Looks a bit like a tourist trap from the outside, but this look is deceiving. The tantanmen ramen they offer is delicious and flavorful. Eating it was a treat. The gyoza were great as welll! As a bonus they offer English menus and the staff speaks it well! Prices are reasonable and the staff was very attentive. Tip: The line app isn’t necessary to order. Just ring the bell and talk to the staff.
