More Comments at Google MapA bright little spot serving up filter coffees and espresso drinks. It's a great location for tourists (and locals, of course) to get a taste of the speciality coffee available in Japan. The selection of brewing hardware is impressive, too. I stopped in for filter coffee and had a beautiful bean that was sweet and smooth. The staff were very friendly and happy to talk coffee and brewing. Looking forward to many returns!
Beautiful space. If you are interested in architecture, I recommend visiting this space. The building itself was constructed back in 1972, and was used as a city's old city-tram warehouse and administration office. After the renovation, it is now recognized as a "registered tangible cultural property (登録有形文化財)". This cafe / shop is led by Kaikado, a 140-year old family run company known for their airtight tin “chazutsu” tea caddies. So if you're into tea or craftsmanship, you'll enjoy their shop area on the second floor too!
Beautiful space. Beautiful tea pots. Delicious teas. Delectable desserts. Check out the store upstairs where they are famous for making metal tea cans that are desirable all over Japan.
