The BEST green tea dessert in Kiyomizu-dera! Must try the sandwich and mochi set.

There was some feeling of zen having lunch here. Fumon-an is a shop selling Japanese tea snacks and sweets as well as deserts. They also serve noodle plus rice set for lunch which they say is limited to 20 orders. The presentation is simple but great and the taste is just right. What I like most is the ambience where you can relax and take it easy. Please note you have to enter a small alley from the main road to get there and it is easy to miss it.

Waited awhile for the food but was worth it! The mochi was melt in your mouth!
