For tourists visiting the Tofuku-ji Temple in Kyoto, come and try this simple and inviting place if you want to have an immersive Japense experience. It's a 3-5 minute walk from the temple. Homemade matcha, coffee, cakes, and ice cream. It honestly felt like we were invited into a Japanese family's home for morning tea. A laidback experience for tourists unlike the usual Kyoto spots. Grateful to have found this spot! Also, check out the surrounding neighborhood for quiant and elegant Japanese residences traversing between Tofuku-ji Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha. It was a lovely and peaceful experience. We sat on a traditional room overlooking the garden while we drank matcha tea and ate japanese pancakes. The owners were wonderful and very friendly. I really recommend this place

What a lovely stop after hiking up Fushimi inari Taisha. Love how light and not overly sweetened the ice cream was. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect.
