such a cute place with calm atmosphere! the owner was by herself, and she made everything on the spot. the food has a home-cooked feeling and the service was very nice. they have desserts and sweet drinks and wifi as well, and it‘s not too crowded (at least when i visited) so i think it‘s a good place to work or study

Great place for lunch. Probably the best meal i have had in japan so far! Delicious beef stew and tasty side dishes at a very reasonable price of 1300. The restraunt itself was warm and cozy. Highly recommended.

Most amazing service. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Imperial Kyoto Palace. We stopped in and the staff were so friendly and accommodating for dietary restrictions. The food was amazing, and with our own dishes, drinks, and dessert, our total came out to approximately 1500 yen per person. An english, adorable, hand written menu was provided and a lovely artist drew some pictures of the desserts as well which was a lovely touch.
