More Comments at Google MapThis is a hand-pressed cafe in Kyoto, and the tables and chairs are wood. There is no room for many people, so you must wait about 30 to 40 minutes. Yesterday I ordered an iced latte and a green tea cheesecake 🍰 and it’s delicious! This is a cafe I will come back to next time.
Excellent coffee brewed by a dedicated master. Although pricey, each cup is carefully poured. Precise timing and weight is measured. The baristas are constantly testing and tweaking. Menus are in Japanese, but there’s a QR code for English if you need it. Also try the cheese cake here. They have many different types. Mostly locals in the place. Our favourite Kissa in Kyoto.
Went here after a recommendation from a local. My dad is a big coffee person and has decided this has to be the best coffee he has had. The barista was meticulous when preparing the coffee, monitoring water temperature and time. My dad would not stop talking about the quality after we left and is making a point to go back before we leave. The shop is definitely on the expensive side (~$8 a cup) but if you are really into coffee, it seems to be worth it.
