This lovely garden and its tea house are worth a visit. The landscape and paths are laid out so that it seems significantly larger than its actual size and the view from the teahouse is beautiful. The tea house has restrooms available but there are no other public amenities.

Worth to visit and enjoy a cup of Japanese green tea with the beautiful garden view. You can see the Hiei Mountain in the far background.

I was very welcome in this place, even though the guide did not know how to speak English, he tried to explain things to me about the Garden, and that made all the difference to have a positive experience, the hospitality was something that surprised me. A true Japanese garden is worth visiting ✨
