Kammaki, Nara, Japan｜Nanatsumori

This time we had a June cake (chocolate mousse) and seasonal coffee in a stylish shop. The carefully made cake had a nice touch of fresh cream and dried strawberries. The coffee was also very aromatic and delicious. The strawberry mille-feuille shaved ice that my family ate also had the right amount of sourness and sweetness in the strawberry syrup, and it was satisfying with lots of strawberries in it. The parking lot was a little far away.

Went for lunch after a long absence. Monthly lunch 1,430 yen. Chicken meatballs are all vegetables except chicken, minestrone bacon, and spring roll prosciutto. The rice is Hinohikari rice from Nara Prefecture + black rice. I think this set is especially popular with women. I had plans to go to a cafe after this, so I didn't include a drink and dessert, but I highly recommend the Nougat Glace. It may be due to the position of the seat, but it was a little disappointing that the inside of the store was hot. .

It seems to be busy no matter what time you go, and it's always crowded whether it's weekends or weekdays, so you might want to make a reservation if possible. I don't usually eat fried food, so the only fried food I eat is the chicken nanban here. It's a pretty cost-effective lunch. For dessert, I don't like cakes that are too sweet, so I always order nougat glacé for cake sets. Subtle sourness and not too sweet, maybe almond? It's crunchy and delicious with nuts in it. Coffee is a little more expensive, but I recommend seasonal coffee. All the store staff are kind and beautiful.
